Only three full weeks before Christmas Eve! Here is a short and cute Japanese Room Escape game in which you need to find four letters and then use them to form a French word related to Christmas! There is no language in this game. Have fun!

   I found the lighter, the key to the gingerbread house, the knife, the plate, and all of the letters. I’ve put the letters where they belong. I’ve lit all the candles and the star-light thingy. I can’t open the small desk, and I can’t read the sign above said small desk, so I don’t know whether there’s a clue there.

   Any help? Please?

   There’s a letter in one of the poinsettias, inside the gingerbread house, under the rug that the dog is sitting on, and the decoration to the right of the door.

    turn on the star-shaped light, on the floor to the left of the shelves

    move all 3 plants and get the lighter

    the “L”:

    is in the leaves of the 3rd plant

    use the lighter to light the candle on the top shelf

    get the knife from behind the cake

    use the knife to cut a slice of cake

    switch on the xmas tree decoration behind the cake, by clicking in the bottom middle

    use the lighter to light all 3 candles by the window

    click on the wall to the right of the window, to look up at the snowflake mobile, and get a key

    look somewhere else and when you come back the dog ate the cake.

    look elsewhere and when you come back the dog has moved

    there is a drawer and a note in japanese (so much for there being no language in the game) to the right of the door (behind the table), but I don’t know how to use it

    once you do everything, you hit the button thats not the light switch, and then the dog will have the key, you get a present in the drawer and then I think i just looked around the room and lazers shot out and that was the end

    Sorry but can someone help me with more detailed suggestions? I’m at the end and the dog is by the xmas tree. There is no key..I can’t read Japanese and dont know how to open the desk!! Thanks

    The dog ate the cake quite happily. I removed the plate and then clicked around the screens, moved chairs, opened cupboards, moved the plants. . . but the dog did not move. I left the computer and after half an hour of digestion the dog finally left his place and I could complete the 4-letter word and pressed the switch. I completed every step, lit all the candles (4 ?), moved objects, switched the light off and on, and so on,….but the dog is sitting stoically at the tree and does not intend to give me any key!!!!
    What shall I do?

    the wall hanging beside the snowman was the answer. I clicked on one of the little X-mas trees and all of them started to flash. Now I got the key from the doggy!

    After you received the present, switch off the light and look around the screens for the 2 angels. Click on them and watch. . .

    Walkthrough:
    Show

    1. Second stocking from the left, click the bottom pom-pom. Go right.
    2. Click the switch on the star light thingy on the floor.
    3. Click the poinsettia pots to move them; get the lighter from behind the third one. Also, get the ‘L’ from the flowers of the third poinsettia.
    4. Use the lighter on the candle on the top shelf. Go right.
    5. Use the lighter on the candelabra in the window. Click the top right of the window to get the view of the snowflakes; get the key. Go back to the room view.
    6. Put the pom-pom on the end of the snowman’s scarf. Click the trunk of the bottom middle tree on the wall decoration. Click just behind and to the right of the cake to get the knife. Go right.
    7. Get the ‘N’ from the decoration to the right of the door. Open the right-hand cupboard door and get the saucer. Go right twice.
    8. Use the key on the gingerbread house. Get the ‘E’, then click the red switch to turn on the lights in the house. Go right.
    9. Use the knife on the cake, then use the plate to get the cake slice. Put the plate next to the dog, then put the cake slice on it. Go *left* all the way around the room.
    10. The dog should have eaten the cake; if not, go click around some more. Click on the empty plate. Go *right* all the way around the room. The dog should be gone from the rug; if not, go click around some more.
    11. Click the rug and get the ‘O’. Go right.
    12. Put the letters into the second row of the checkerboard pattern on the door. (Put them in the right order, obviously: Noel.) Click the switch to the left of the door. Go right.
    13. The dog should have a red key in its mouth. If not, make triple-sure you’ve done everything. Get the key, go left.
    14. Click to the left of the table. Use the key to open the chest and get the present. Go back to the room view and turn off the lights (switch to the right of the door). Go right or left twice; observe the show.
    15. When the show is finished, the door will be spotlighted. Turn the lights back on, click the doorknob, and congrats!

    I’m back with another walk through for freegamesnews! Click to find the secrets of Xmas Escape.

    Take the pompom from the red stocking when you first come in. Turn right. Move all the poinsettas and take the lighter. Take the L in the last poinsetta. Turn on the star lights and light the candle on top of the drawer thingy.Turn right and put the pompom on Snowman’s scarf. Now take the knife from behind the cake and cut a slice. Click the bottom center mechanical tree on the poster above the cake. Light the three candles in the window and then click upwards. Take the dollhouse key. Turn right and take the letter from the bells on the right of the door. Open the cabinets and take a plate. Turn left and place the plate in front of the dog, followed by the cake slice. Turn left and unlock the dollhouse. Take the E and PUSH THE RED BUTTON. This is a frequently missed step that results in the dog not getting you the key. Turn right and turn the lights on and off and spin around like crazy. It sounds weird but that was the only way I could make the dog eat the cake. Anyway, once he’s done, take the cake mess and turn right around thre whole room. The dog should leave, revealing NOEL, your keyword. Lift the rug and take the O. Turn right and input NOEL into the door. Press the left light. Turn right. If you have done everything right, meaning everything is lit up, the dog should have the key. Turn left and look on the left of the desk to find a little compartment. Put in your key there and take the present. Turn the lights off and turn around left for your happy laser show! Now turn the lights on and open the door. You’ve escaped!

    A foolproof way to Show

    get the dog to eat the cake is to go LEFT all the way around the room. Then, to get him to leave the rug (after you take the empty plate), go RIGHT all the way around the room. If you go in the correct direction, the dog will do what you want every time. No need to flick the lights or anything.

    okay i put the cake on the plate beside the dog and he just sits there, I moved around and everything and he hasnt even touched the cake.
