Did you enjoy Sphere Core? Here is its sequel, Cube Core, the second Room Escape game created by John Feltham.

“It has felt like an eternity since leaping into the darkness. The stark walls, the flickering lights, the strange technology, the twisted puzzles, it has left many questions in my mind. Yet, I awake to find myself in yet another room. However this one is different from the last – the room is dimly illuminated, save from a soft glow of light coming from one side of the room. What is the source of the light? How am I to get out of this room?

All I have on me is the revolting frozen embryo that I found in the Sphere Core. What secrets does it hold?”

The author promises that this sequel offers more puzzles, more experimentation, hopefully less buggy and more fun. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the TAB key is still your friend in this one!

   What I have so far:
   Show

   Start by clicking on the middle panel you see. I’ll open up. Ignore it for now and turn to your right.

   Show

   Turn on the light and move the cushion. Remember the code you see there.

   Show

   Go back to the hidden panel and click. Click on the middle arrow to shrink. Then turn around and go into the hole in the cube.

   Show

   Follow the tunnel into you see four red doorways. Head into the last door on the right and enter the code you saw on the couch. Take the knife and leave that room.

   Show

   Go into the froom on the left now. You should be in front of a DNA analyzer. Place the embryo into the chamber on the left and press the button. Take the slip of paper that eventually produces

   Show

   Leave the cube now. Turn around, and get back to your normal size with the panel you used before. Go back to the chair and click to its right. Use the knife on the back of the chair and get the power cell.

   Show

   Shrink, get back into the cube, and go into the second room on the left. open the hole in the bottom-right corner, put in the power cell, and close it.

   I’m stuck on the nucleotide chamber. The slip mentions adenocytosine but there’s no cytosine!

    Go to the room Show

    with the pipes and make one continuous route. Put the power cell in the right bottom hole and the mole thing in the left opening. He’ll run through the pipes and the power cell gets charged up. Remove the charged power cell.

    I have a yellow wheel from the second code. I asume this will open the iris?? But how??!!?? Can’t open the iris.

    turn to the right and use key on keyhole

    i got pretty much to the end by myself but now i’m totally stumped and the walkthrough doesn’t mention it:

    when i use the key on the door and open it there’s a brick wall behind it and the message says “A solid brick wall, no exit here”

    any advice?

    i have a great problem… when i get the depleted power core to charge it with this mouse or something… it doesn ‘t work… and it doesn ‘t says: something is missing!

    when you put the key in the keyhole a light should begin to shine behind the door when the door is closed and after the light is shinning from behind the door you should be able to open the door and the brick wall should be gone. I know that when I opened the door before I used the key on the keyhole that same brick wall appeared. So just look for the shinning light from behind the door.

    verify that you have: 1. got the mog-rat to go from the lower left to the upper right. 2. that the depleted power core to put in the hole in the bottom right. 3. the vertical line on the left above the depleted core is starting to change colors from black to an aqua blue color starting from the bottom and goint up to the top. 4. once the vertical line has completly changed to a solid aqua blue color then the center of the power core should turn to an aqua blue as well, then the power core should be full charged.

    also verify that you have not closed the hole where you placed the depleted power core, if you have, then just push the red button on the bottom right to open the hole to grab the power core

    This bites, the game keeps bugging out on me when i try to charge the power core. I have everything in the machine, I even did it just like the walkthrough and nothing happens when I press the green button.

    I’ve done everything but I can,t place the fully charged power core in Iris on the top. I have opened “iris” with the remote control. But the power core will not go in there. What have I done wrong?? Please help.

    make sure you leave the lamp on to get the key and also to open the door with no brick wall

    This one was, IMO, more enjoyable and made more sense than the first one. I didn’t find that I needed to use the tab key trick to find places to click on. The trick with the embryo, then the rat and the maze, then the codes was pretty cool but not too complicated or obscure and therefore not frustrating. This is one of the better room escape games, right up there with the phone booth.

    click middle part of wall, move pillow put on light, remember code, go to hole in wall go to door on right enter code, take knife, go left put in embryo, go to thrid on left, press left 5 times press right 3 times press middle 2 times, wait for rat to come out, take rat, go to chair again, click on the right side of char, cut open back of chair, take the depleted thing, go back to doors, pick second on left.
    put in rat in the whole left, put in cell and close the thing right down and use all puzzle pieces, then ur cell gets charged, pick it up, go back to safe ented 5151 use all valves and put them on the wall, get remote, get big again, press remote a few times until it says open, put cell in, use close button use other button ,wait pick up key, put key in keyhole, wait. open door, go to door.
