The Other Side of the Door is a cute and easy Japanese Room Escape game that was released one week ago. The game is all written in Japanese, but the language barrier is not really a problem here: “the charm of even numbers…” should be the only hint you need to complete this one! Have fun!

   So far:
   Show

   take picture from frame

   Show

   take lighter from the very left side of the plant

   Show

   go right. take plate from the windowsill

   Show

   go right. remove vase from the shelf. take magnet from the first drawer

   Show

   go right. take scissors

   Show

   go right twice. remove rope from the packet with scissors.

   Show

   zoom in. take the rope in front of the package. take letter (left edge of books on the left)

   Show

   connect rope and magnet.

   Show

   go right. take key behind the shelf with magnet

   Show

   use key on the third drawer and get candle

   Show

   put candle on plate and lit it with the lighter

   Show

   combine candle with sheet of paper with red signs on it

   Show

   find the password… i cant’t!

   To get the lighter you have to facing the door with the plant on your left. You’ll see it in the plant on the left right above the couch pillow. It’s blue.

   I tried rearranging the numbers, using odd or even numbers and even googled japanese numbers but I still can’t get it. My numbers are 725108.

   Please help!

    Yes!! I got out and only had to look at Suzi’s spoiler for the password part. :D This is a cute and fun game, pretty easy. I’d play this again and again!

    they’re numbers, not digits. The “10” is one number, not two.

    Some of these are tough….specially when its not in english. Then you cant read the hints they are giving you…or what the person is thinking when you click on things. Other than that…it was good.

    so far i have:Show

    1. grab painting on wall
    2. turn left grab scissors out of cup on table
    3. turn left again get magnet out of top drawer
    4. click on vase to put it on the floor
    5. turn left grab plates out of window
    6. use scissors to cut open present
    7. take string from present
    **note** as far as my knowledge there is nothing useful in the box
    8. zoom in on magnet and attach string to it
    9. turn right back to the dresser and click between the dresser and the wall where the vase was and you should get a different view to see a small key out of reach
    10. use your new string/magnet contraption to reach down and get the key
    11. use key on bottom drawer of dresser to get a candle
    12. zoom in on plate and put candle on it

    thats all for now i will update it when i get further
