   Basically straight forward but then again, I struggle with the last (?) puzzle, the drawer in the bedroom with a 4 letter code. Hint, anyone?

     Great game but I still don’t understand the last clue, even after watching the video walkthrough. Show

     The four letter code is supposedly found by solving the puzzle at the picture in the library

     Look at the stained glass cupboard door in the bathroom to get the order for pushing the two buttons

     Somehow they get ‘cluo’ from the grid of numbers by using the 1936 plate and the order those numbers are shown

   Walthrough: (In this game, if there’s a place you can click, the tip of the cursor will light up. If you try to solve a puzzle before you’ve seen the clue, it will tell you so, so if you can push any buttons, it means you’ve already found the clue, so go back and check things you’ve seen.)

   Take the STOOL. Zoom in on the flowers on the right and take the PAPAER. Look at it. Read the clue and turn it around. Turn to the front door and click on the light on the right. You can turn this one on. (I guess every other light in the room is burned out.) Hold the clue in front of the light to get a number. Turn right and use the number to open the drawer. Get a MUSIC KEY. Also look at the menu. Compare the double letters on the left with the names of the rooms on the right. This is the SHAPE CLUE.
   Use the music key to get into the matching room. Zoom in on the nook. Take the BAR and notice the middle drawer opens with a sequence of three shapes. Inside is a pair of SCISSORS. On the piano is a piece of music. There are four boxes below the staff. This is a hint for where to use this clue. I’ll call it the MUSIC CLUE. Also notice there’s a window box, but you can’t do anything with it yet. There’s something hanging from the left curtain. Put the stool on the ground to get close to it and cut off the FORK KEY.
   Enter the dining room (with the crossed silverware on the door). Take a GLASS from the table. Open the left drawer (don’t forget to push the button at the bottom after you enter the sequence) to get a LAMP KEY and a HOOK. Notice that the right drawer is stuck. Look up at the chandelier. There’s a key there you can’t reach. Push the button on the bottom to see the HEX SEQUENCE. (This one’s pretty straightforward, so no clue.)
   Go into the bedroom. Open the wardrobe to find a TIE CLUE, a book of MATCHES, and a WOODEN ROD. Look at the rod and discover a hole in one end. Screw in the hook to get a … LONG HOOK, I guess. Look at the drawers by the bed. You need 4 numbers and 4 letters, but you don’t have the clues yet.
   Go back to the dining room and use the long hook to get the WATER KEY

   Shape clue:Show

   The clue says “ii ee rr.” Look for rooms where those letters occur twice and not the shapes next to them: fork, lamp, book.

   Music clue:Show

   Count the bars connecting the pairs of notes for a number sequence: 142123. Notice there are four boxes underneath and the numbers only go up to four. This is the order you need to push the buttons. You’ll use this clue in the next room.

   Tie clue:Show

   This is a sequence of directions. Look at the way the end of the tie is pointing. Use it on the buttons in the bathroom.

     ::grumble:: Hit the wrong key. Finishing up:

     Get the WATER KEY, which opens the bathroom. (It has a shower head on the door, but no shower head inside. Also, no toilet or sink. I guess it’s literally just a bathroom.) Click the left side of the room and fill the glass from the tub. Now you have WATER (just don’t drink it). There’s a shelf in the back of the room. On the right side is a cupboard you can already open with a SHOVEL inside. On the left side, you need to complete the picture by swapping the tiles. Inside is a pentagonal hole. We’ll come back to that. Close the door and look closely at the picture for the STAINED GLASS CLUE.
     Go back to the window box in the music room. Pour the water on the soil and dig out the ROLLING PIN KEY with the shovel. This gets you into the kitchen. All you need here is a METAL TURNER and a BOTTLE OF OIL.
     Go to the dining room. Use the metal turner (some may call it a spatula) to pry open the stuck drawer and get a NOTEPAD. View the matchbook and click on it to get a BURNT MATCH. Use this on the notepad for a NUMBER CLUE. (It’s just a number, so no hints below.)
     Use the number clue on the drawer in the bedroom to get the BOOK KEY. Enter the library and get a WING NUT from the painting in the right corner. Zoom in on the mantle and light the candles to see a number plaque, but it’s screwed on.
     Go back to the bathroom and open the stained glass door. Put the metal bar in the hole and attach the wing nut. It doesn’t seem to turn, so oil it. Now you can open the door to get a SCREWDRIVER. Take this back to the library and remove the NUMBER PLAQUE. Behind it are two buttons. Push them in the correct sequence to see a NUMBER GRID. Use this clue with the numbers on the plaque to get the letter sequence for the other drawer in the bedroom. This one is tricky, spend a bit of time looking at the shapes of the sections each number is in. You’ll be rewarded with the OUTSIDE KEY and you can escape in your old-fashioned car.

     Stained glass clue:Show

     Notice the yellow parts of the design that aren’t symmetrical. This is a left/right clue. (LRRRLLRL)

     Number grid and plaque:Show

     Notice the locations of the numbers from the plaque on the grid. Now look at the boxes that outline them. I recommend drawing just the section that each number is in. They look like block letters. ASCII art really doesn’t work in this font, so I’ll describe them. 1 has lines on all sides but the right: C. 9 has lines on the bottom and left: L. 3 has lines on all sides but the top: U. 6 is surrounded: O.

   Yeesh. Had to split this up over two days, but even without that I think I’d’ve gotten stumped in the same places. I totally missed the Show

   rod in the bedroom closet

   , so that slowed me down a good long time. Then, I was wearied by the time I was taking so didn’t even try to figure out the final code! Thanks to WW as always for the comprehensive walkthrough. That was a bit tougher than I was expecting. :P
