Quick-hitting walkthrough (minus mildly elegant prose):

Show

Turn Right. Click in corner with eggs. Click on small rock egg to pick up.

Back up. Click on kitty head on the shelf. Place egg on the shelf next to the kitty. Click on the kitty head. Poor kitty ouched her head. Pick up broken egg.

View egg in inventory. Click on the split to open the egg. Take the matches. View egg in inventory again. Click on the split to open the egg again. Click on the top of the upper portion to turn it around. Take the candle from the top half (I guess it was stuck there with sticky tape).

Do not bother trying to light the candle. It’s a magic candle. Step back.

Turn right twice. Click in the desk area to close in. Click on the lighted box in the corner.

* Note the letter on the front of the shelf (it varies from game to game). This letter is on a red background. *

Click on the circle below the shelf. Take the note out of the wastebasket. It has a flame symbol on it.

Back up twice. Click on the group of half-horseshoes. Place the candle on the side of the front-most half-horseshoe.

Go ahead. Now you can light it.

Place the note with the flame symbol on the candle. More magic. And a diagram with four trapezoidal symbols. Back up twice.

Turn right. Click on the set of four trapezoidal tables. Note that they make pretty shapes. Irrelevant shapes. No, seriously, stop trying to figure out those pretty shapes.

Highlight the converted flame note in inventory and click on the tables again. Now the pretty shape is familiar. Click again on the center of the table. Pick up the screwdriver.

* Note the letter on the floor. This letter is on a purple background. *

Back up twice. Click on the curio shelves. Click on the plate in the lower right portion of the shelves.

Use the screwdriver to remove the plate. You now have a screw in inventory. Back up.

Click near the bottom of the shelves to move the step-stairs back. Click on the green shelf at the top of the shelves.

Click on the door to open it. Pick up what looks like half of a key.

Back up.

Turn left. Click on the desk area again. Click on the half-horseshoes again. Click on the empty candle-holder to pick it up. Click on it in inventory to remove the backing and get a ring.

View the half-key in inventory. Place the ring on the key. Place the screw on the bracket where they join. Use the screwdriver to tighten the screw. Back up twice.

Turn right. Click on the glass door. Use the key to open the door. Click in the door area to walk onto the patio.

Click on the area at the bottom of the far wall. You hear water. Place the note in the water.

Back up.

Turn left. Click on the table. Click on the tray in the center of the table (you can play with the apple first). Click on the bottom of the tray. It lifts up.

Back up three times. You are now looking at a strange table. Focus on the key in inventory. Use the screwdriver to remove the screw. You now have key pieces in inventory.

Click on the small gray plate on the wall. Place the ring on the circle in the plate. Click on the plate to open it. Take the remote control (horray, it already has batteries). Back up.

Click on the strange table. You see numbers in positions on the table. Note where the numbers are (5 bottom left, 3 top, 2 bottom right).

Click on the upper left corner of the table. A different view, behind the bar to the left. Note the numbers (1 in the front, 4 further up and to left, behind the bar).

Go back and click on the upper right corner of the table. A third view, with a 6 in the right corner behind the bar. Back up twice.

Turn right. Click on the door twice to go back through. Click on the television.

Use the remote on the television. You see a diagram in a box. The diagram looks a lot like the funny table you saw outside.

Match the colors of the little people to the numbers you remembered from the table.

1-Blue
2-Yellow
3-Pink
4-Green
5-Red
6-Purple

Back up.

Turn left twice. Click on the bottom of the pink door.

Hmm… where have you seen those six background colors before… it’s a code of sorts. Use the letters you found around the room to create a six-letter password. The order of the letters is determined by matching the background colors of each letter with the numbers associated with each person on the television.

Turn left. Click on the table between the two chairs. Click on the grey box on the left side of the shelf behind the chairs.

Enter your new six-letter code in the box where it reads “enter alphabets.” Don’t worry, you don’t need more than one alphabet, just six letters.

Click on the red button. It will turn green. Click on the front of the box to open it. You will see a larger version of the scene you saw on the television screen.

Click on the top half of the box, where the small outline is. This gives you a key card. Back up.

Turn right. Click on the small white box to the left of the door. Use the key card on the box.

Congratulations, the kitty head has escaped (I guess she wasn’t too badly injured after all).
