Created by Wildsnake Software (Shuffle) for Shockwave, Blocky is a timed puzzle game that shares some similarities with Nelinurk, a game developed by Tonypa.

“The Smilies are feeling blocked in and sad! Help them escape – and make them giggle – by clicking and dragging a rectangle with four like-colored corners”. The larger the rectangle, the more Smilies you release (and the more points you score).

Blocky is easy to play with just a few squares and only two or three colors but things get much more complex with tons of blocks and four colors and more. Note that you get some extra time for every block removed from the board (even the non smiley-ones).

Blocky is a fun and addictive short game, perfect for a 5-10 minute break.
