     easy to get lost in this game.

     sometimes u have to walk backwards to get somewhere new.

       Yes, still atmospherical, like the first & second part.
       So far it’s annoying that all the locations from the predecessors also feature here. That means a lot of screens to walk through and check that either contain nothing or only one item. Add to that the varying places at which the navigation arrows are hidden. Grumble.
       But still not played through.

   fyi there are 2 ways to get the bear trap:
   1. Show

   fix the turbine

   2. Show

   burn the house down

   below the well – I’ve collected items, information, map locations and errands but don’t yet need help as I’ve still got lots to do.

   If anyone else starts playing I’ll happily post how far I’ve got.

   Now I need help! I’ve got Show

   pincers, rat poison, grappling hook, kerosine, damaged turbine, lighter and turbines.

   I’ve already Show

   completed the ‘shopping list’ and given the items to the shopkeeper and therefore got a new challenge from the Observers.

   How do I Show

   fix the turbine? Do I need more parts? if so, where are they? Also I found a cupboard I could zoom in on in the underground bunker but couldn’t do anything there.

   Any hints?

   I had already tried to use the vice on the new blades: I’ve now done it:

   To fix it:Show

   go to the garage, place the old turbine in the vice, use the pincers to remove the broken blades, add the new blades, take back the fixed turbine.

   do you have to burn down the house? me’s post at 3:40 (this server time) applies it was an either/or. I couldn’t advance without doing that after fixing the turbine and receiving the bear trap. I had earlier told the Observer that I would do it (I didn’t want to anger him). Did anyone say “no way” to that request?

   I could play again but I have to get lunch now.

   A walkthrough before I go:
   Show

   Look under bonnet – radiator pipe is broken. Back out and go right.
   Go straight on to shack. Talk to the man. Back out and enter the shack.
   Examine the table on the right and read the note. Back up. Leave the shack and talk to the man again to get an errand in exchange for information.

   Go back in shack. Take radiator pipe from table on left. Go straight ahead into bathroom and take the red deer meat from the bath. Go right and back out three times.

   Go left, zoom on car engine and replace the radiator pipe. Zoom out, open car
   door and enter. Turn the ignition key. Select Town on the map.

   When you arrive, go straight forward to the building. Enter shop and talk to keeper. Receive screws.

   Back out twice, get in car, return to hunter’s home and go right and straight on to return to shack. Talk to hunter, give him the bag and ask for directions.

   Return to car and drive to Observer’s nest. Enter through gates. Zoom on guards and talk to the one on the right. Ask for Lynch and get new errand.

   Drive back to town and go right and back (straight on only takes you back to
   shop). Enter building on right (garage/shed). Take pincers and fuel.

   Go to second building on right (house). Open door and enter. Go through the door on the left at the top of the stairs. Go left and note the drawings – you need a way to record them. Back up and look through the window to the right to see a building in the distance. Back up twice and look under the stairs (to the left of them). Take the lighter. Back up twice to leave the house.

   Let’s explore the town whilst we’re here.

   Go to the left side of the house, straight on and up to the door (up the steps). Open the door and enter. Take the rat poison and note the turbine blades
   leaning against the machine on the right. Use the pincers to cut them and pick
   them up.

   Back out 6 times (to an abandoned car), back out again, go right (towards the
   bottom on the screen) and enter the hatch.

   Zoom on control panel. Back out twice and go left. Climb in the window on the left and go left to the well. Go down well and move the stones aside. Take the grappling hook. Open the hatch door and continue down. Down again and straight on. Take gas lamp. Go to table and read the book. Back up.

   Back out twice and go right to a study. Take the bulb from the lamp. Back out. Back up to the top of a spiral staircase.

   Go straight on twice. Pull lever on right of door and go straight on (leads to hatch you entered earlier). Go back down, straight on and downstairs. Go
   straight on twice to bedroom, take the lightbulb from the lamp. Back out and go left to kitchen. Go to hob and take matches. Back out three times to stairs.

   Go left to bathroom. Take sulfuric acid from shelf and the lightbulb from wall. Combine the sulfuric acid with the rat poison.

   Back out and go right to store room. Take rice (blue container on floor in front). Take kerosene from middle shelf and corn flakes from left. At this point I wondered what on earth I was going to do with all this stuff!

   Back out and go back up the spiral stairs. Go left. Go forward three times to leave through the first hatch you went down.

   Go left and carry on down the path. Go straight on to a wooden tower (you can climb the tower but I didn’t find anything useful there). Go straight on. Go up (arrow is on the closest wooden upright), see a woman ahead. Approach her and talk to her.

   Back up and approach the house. Go to the left of the house, open the cover on the turbine to the left and take the damaged turbine.

   Back up 7 times. Go up to abandoned car and straight on (arrow between tree and house).

   I explored the house on the left and the wow of pylons behind but they don’t appear relevant.

   Go straight on down the road twice to return to the car. Go back in the shop
   and talk to the man. Get list from him. Read the list – these items are already in the inventory. Give the shopkeeper all the items and choose your payment – a camera.

   Back out twice, go right, back, to the 2nd house on the right, enter and go upstairs and to the left to the drawings. Use the camera on them. Back out and pick up the photo from the floor.

   Back out 3 times and go forward twice. Using the car, return to the Observers’
   nest. Enter the gates and talk to the guard on the right. Return to the car and back to the city.

   Go back to the garage (right, back and first building on right). Enter. Put the broken turbine in the vice and use the pincers on it to remove the broken blades. Place the new blades on it and take the repaired turbine back.

   Leave the garage and return to the woman’s house (back up from road to abandoned car, back up, right, straight on four times). Go behind the building and place the fixed turbine in its slot. Get the bear trap.

   Combine the poison with the bear trap. Back up and use the kerosene on the house. Use the lighter on the kerosene. Go back to the car and return to the Observers’ nest. Talk to the guard again… another errand.

   Go back to car, return to hunter’s home and talk to him again. Give him the poisoned trap.

   Back in car, select Hermit’s den. Go straight on and note fog barrier blocking the way. Go back and go to the mountain on the left (behind the car). There’s something on the left (near the bottom), zoom in – it’s a body. Open the rucksack and take the rope. Combine the rope with the grapling hook.

   Back up twice. Use the grapling on the ledge on the mountain face. Climb the rope and open the hermit’s door, watch the ending.

     after that go to the woman (Ann), the woman tell me to go near the border, give poisonous bear trap to the man (forget his name) and get Lynch wherebouts

    Thanks MiniTaurus for that. I thought had I tried speaking to her again. Anyway, I’ve just played through episodes 1 and 2 (as I haven’t done so before) and now those unused clickable areas make a lot more sense. Maybe we get to follow the electricity pylons in episode 4.

    Is anyone still playing?? I’m at the part where i need to get the picture to the observers or whatever and I’m at the fehrenheit store with the asian kid out front but my car is gone? how do i get to the observers?

    i found a glitch when using:
    Show

    the grappling hook, i clicked on the force field, then when i put it back it went inbetween 2 other items (in a very odd spot) now i cant use it…

    this sucks lol

    I really liked how there were 2 Show

    endings, I killed Lynch the first time and I replayed it without following that weird group

    for those having problems with the Drawing quest, you can:
    Show

    1) give all the items you need to collect to the guy at the shop and choose the camera

    or
    Show

    2)give the guy at the shop all the items, but choose food instead of the camera, give the food to the boy outside (you need to click on him to talk) and he’ll do the drawing (you have to go back to where you saw the house with the drawings on the wall because he’ll be standing there holding the picture

    I love this series :D

    i can’t figure this out. im in the bunker below the well, and right after i found two of the three lightbulbs. When i try to go back up the stairs to the first floor, the game just goes forward into the hall where it splits into the bedroom/kitchen. There’s no up arrow for the stairs.

    @escapee: Show

    Go to the house with the dead soldier, but don’t enter. Then look to your right at the powerlines. Click on them. Click on the powerlines again and you should be at the observers nest.
