The Compound

The Compound is a Room Escape game from Herbert Hibbert where you you wake up and find yourself locked in a compound for an unknown reason. This game seems to be inspired by the famous series Submachine from Mateusz Skutnik. The TAB key is active in this one. Have fun!

   The tricky part is Show

   that you have to input the right states of matter under element signs: solid, gas, plasma, liquid

   that was a fun game but very tricky. I had to find a Walkthrough or I could never had finished the game :)

   same for me…helps from eg24 were essential…the valves drove me nuts…and why they couldn’t get an electrical grid that worked for three buildings..but could have other tech stuff is beyond me…lots of fun.

   how did you do that? can’t find where to put key, how to use forcefeild (?) and so on… plz help!!!

   WOW! Took forever. :0)

   Complete Walkthrough…… I hope…. LOL

   1. Show

   Plug the power cord into the middle box. Go Right one then up the ladder. You will see four symbols Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Under the symbols in very small print, you can type in words. Under Earth type solid (lower case on all), Air is gas, Fire is plasma, and Water is liquid. The panels will open and you will get a key card.

   2. Show

   Go all the way down, then all the way to the Right. Go down that ladder and then all the way to the Left and get a yellow key. Go Right one to a transporter like tank. Click on the upper left green button and turn it on. The blue one opens the door but don’t open it yet.

   3. Show

   Go back to the power cord. Plug it into the Right box. Go Left and use the yellow key to open the door. You will see a lit door. Enter that building. Turn Right twice and pickup a note. Look at it. You will need this pattern later. Go up that ladder and to the Right. Pickup the green key and then go back down. Go all the way to the Right, then down the ladder.

   4. Show

   Goto the Left and turn on the tank and pickup the bowling ball. Go left and use the key card to open the door. Enter the room and click about two or three times to enter a space with a bunch of blinking lights. In the middle of the panel is one that isn’t blinking. Click on it and a door opens with a chair. You can do anything else so leave the building and go back to the power cord.

   5. Show

   Put the power into the middle box and turn all the way to the Right. Use the green key on the door. Enter the door and get the book on the bottom right corner. It has a code lock in it. If you get the wrong book, just put it back until you find the right one. Go back to the power plug.

   6. Show

   Put the power into the Left box. Go out the door and enter the lit door on the Left. The first Red valve you see must be open. Open is inline with the pipe. If it across the pipe then its closed. Turn right. Put the bowling ball in the big pipe. Go up ladder. Turn Left and open the red valve. Go Right. You will see two green valves. They should be closed. Go Right. Open the red valve and go down the ladder to bottom. Pickup note and turn Left.

   7. Show

   To the left of the big tank is a wire. The red valve should be open. Turn wheel and go back to where the bowling ball was in the pipe. There should be a hole in the wall now. Go into it. You can pickup the bowling ball again but I didn’t use it again. You can go in and look at a machine but it needs a fuse so go back to the pipe that held the bowling ball.

   8. Show

   Go up the ladder from there and turn Right. Open the green valve on the LEFT only. Go Right and down to the big tank with the wheel. Close the red valve and turn the wheel. Go all the way back to the power cord.

   9. Show

   Plug the power into the middle box. Go all the way down to the tank with the door. It should be full of water now and you will see a piece of puzzle. Click on the right green button and the water will drain. Click on the blue button and the door will open. Get the puzzle piece.

   10. Show

   Go back to the power and plug it into the Right box. Go out the door and into the far building. Go Right and up the ladder to the machine where you found the key. Plug the cord into the lower left side of the machine and the other end into the code pad in the book. Match the pattern on the key pad to the note. Earth, Air, Fire, Water. A beam of light will shine on a key. Get key and head back to the power cord.

   11. Show

   Plug the power cord into the Left box. Go to the left door. turn right, up, right so you see the two green valves. Turn OFF the Left one, and turn ON the Right one. Go down and turn the wheel on the water tank. Now go back to the power plug.

   12. Show

   Plug the power into the Right box and go into the far building. Go all the way to the right and down to the tank. It should be full of water and the other half of the puzzle. Click on the right green button to drain it. Open the door and get the puzzle. Go back to the power plug.

   13. Show

   Plug it into the middle box and go down to were the tank is. To the left of the tank, use the puzzle pieces and get a fuse. Go back to the power plug.

   14. Show

   Plug it into the Left box and goto into the hole that the bowling ball made. Put the fuse in its place and use the key to open the door to the machine. Take the power pod. Go back to the power cord.

   15. Show

   Plug the power into the Right box and goto the far building. Go all the way down to were the tank is. To the left of the tank is the door you opened with the key card. Go into the room with the blinking lights. Put the power bod into the hole to the right. Click on the chair. Click the green button and it should say, “All systems are go”. Turn the red valve and your off!
