    teensy note behind the poster on the right hand side of the poster. But you can only see it when you are zoomed out. In other words, if you can see the closet that has the mysterious blue thing it, then look at the poster. It is on the very edge of the game window on the right hand side of the poster.

    This gives you the clue to how to use the mirror. You cannot use the mirror until you have found the above clue. However, it still makes no sense:
    Show

    The mirror is shown in the clue, to be placed across the word ROYAL. This gives:
    B, O, X, a diamond, and the six pointed star.

    Problem with the box code: Show

    The note behind the poster gave an order that did not work. But a right circular shift of 2 places did work.

    Anybody else had a similar problem?

    NOTE: To close a window or click on stuff, click on the Hand in your Inventory

    X = Don’t Click
    1 = Click this Button first
    4 = Click this Button as the fourth

    Walkthrough:

    Show

    1. Move Right/Left! Click on the Poster, on the Right-Side wall, to zoom in. Take the hidden paper on the Middle-Left of the Poster. You’ll see some Card Symbols on the paper. If you look at the Symbols on the paper, and the Poster behind the Window, you’ll see on the Poster that Diamond is 1st, Ace of Spade 2nd, Heart 3rd, Clubs 4th and Star 5th!

    2. Close the Window with the paper [Click on the Hand in your Inventory], and zoom out! Move Right/Left, and click on the Box in the lower part of the Shelf. Click on the Buttons in this order:

    [ 2 ][ 3 ][ 4 ][ 1 ][ 5 ]

    or

    IV – I – II – III – Star

    or

    Button 4, Button 1, Button 2, Button 3, Button 5

    How I found the Box’s Code: Remember the paper, and we found out which symbol was the first one, and which symbol the last one. If you look at the paper again, you’ll see that there are 5 squares, and the symbols are inside them. The 5 squares, are the buttons and each button has it’s own symbol on the Paper, and we found the correct order they should be pressed in

    3. If done correctly, the Box should open. Take the Key from inside, and zoom out! Use Key on the Desk’s Top Drawer, to unlock it. Click on the Top Drawer again, to get a Magnet!

    4. Click on the Box again [Lower part of the Shelf], to zoom in. If you look at the part between the Shelf and the Wall, you’ll see a Key. Use Magnet on the Key, to get it. Zoom out, and close the Desk’s Top Drawer. Use Key on the Desk’s Bottom Drawer, and click on the Bottom Drawer to get a Screw Driver!

    5. Click on the Box again [Lower part of the Shelf], to zoom in. Click on the Box’s Top Part, to close it [The opener/cover, which closes and opens the box]. Use Screwdriver on the Box’s Top Part’s (Cover/Opener) Bottom-Right corner, to get the Top Part! Use Screwdriver to unscrew the 2 Screws on the Top Part of the Box. Once done, change cursor to Hand [In your Inventory], and enter the same code as before:

    [ 2 ][ 3 ][ 4 ][ 1 ][ 5 ]

    or

    IV – I – II – III – Star

    or

    Button 4, Button 1, Button 2, Button 3, Button 5

    Once done, take the Green Part inside the Box (which is a mirror. You’ll see it when you take it), and zoom out!

    6. Move Right/Left. Look at the Poster from this View, and you’ll see another Hidden Paper [Near Bottom-Right part of the Poster]. Take the Paper, and it will show you to use Mirror on the word, “ROYAL” and it shows you a red line in the middle of the word! Click on the Poster to zoom in, and use Mirror on the Middle of the word, “ROYAL”, and you’ll get something like, BOX Diamond I Star!

    7. If you Double-click on the Brown Top-Part from the Box in your Inventory, you’ll get a Window with the item. Click on the Part from the Box, to turn it around. You’ll some more Symbols. If you look at the hint, “BOX Diamind I Star” – BOX is from behind the Top-Part from Box, and it’s on the Second Spot, which means the first number is 2

    If you look at the Paper from before, you’ll see the Diamond on the Fourth Spot, meaning the second number is 4

    Look at the I, doesn’t it remind you of a number. I = 1

    So the final code is: 241

    8. Zoom out, and Move Right/Left! Click on the Box [Lower part of Shelf], to zoom in. Click on the Buttons in following order:

    [ 3 ][ 1 ][ 0 ][ 2 ][ 4 ]

    or

    II – IV – I – Star

    or

    Button 2, Button 4, Button 1, Button 5

    The Solution is from the Poster we solved!

    9. Once done, the Box will open from it’s Bottom-Part. Take the Food/Pie, and zoom out! Move Right/Left, and open the Closet [You have to click on the Black Dot/Handle].

    10. Place Pie on the Closet’s Floor, and close the Closet. Open the Closet again, and enjoy the ending!

    241

    The only explanation I have is Show

    the mirror on ROYAL shows you B O X (diamond) | *. The second code has a cube in position 2, so the box is 2, the first code has a diamond in position 4, and finally the vertical line is 1.

    I am soooooo annoyed! I have tried this game three times today. Once on another site..can’t open box…again with th Prid’s WT, similar clues, can’t open box!
    Again using IE…still cannot open that ridiculous box!!!!!!
    I haven’t read anywhere on any site where anyone had similar problems, but I give up!!!!
    Thanks anyway, Prid for all your hard work…I do appreciate it.

    @ nokra – you have to perform specific tasks before open the box (ie finding clues before using corresponding codes). Extended is very well done, but a few clues are tricky to find, leading to some frustration…

    Anyway, IE is not guilty in your case – but you might consider to use both IE and FF/Chrome/Opera, just in case ;-)

    I did miss a step, I have finally finished it.
    yes, I had dinner and did dishes…then came back to it in a different state of mind. I liked the game, although a wee bit strange…
    Forgive my frustration…just wasn’t seeing things and I was distracted by all the buzzers and bells.
    I love these games and thanks again everyone for all the help.

    So this caterpillar woman smelled the cake that was in the box and climbed into the room. She couldn’t get it out and when the man came into the room, she hit him over the head & glued all exits shut, in the hope that when he wakes up he would open the box for her? What does she say to him after this revelation that makes her eyes shine & him look so horrified? “Let’s stay together”? ;-)

    I thought the game’s description said there is no language barrier..that’s untrue as there clearly is a language barrier at the end. If you can’t speak Japanese, you will have no clue what’s going on..

    I believe it’s an apology (or explanation) from the blue creature,to the man for sneaking into his house because of hunger (or intoxicating aroma,it can be the same thing I guess)

    While trying to get into the box the man came home and the creature (a she I think) knocked him out with the box and then hid in the closet.
