   Walkthrough:

   You feel a strong shove from behind, then a door slams behind you. You turn and frantically try the door handle, but it’s no use. You’re locked in a room for what seems like the 101st time.

   Show

   Is it a bowling alley? Light wood floors are polished to a sheen that makes you self-conscious of the heavy black work boots you wore today. You hope that in your fervent endeavors to escape, you don’t scuff the flooring beyond repair.

   You notice a combination lock on the door. Perhaps your escape depends on figuring out the combination. You start looking around, holding your nose as the varnish from these floors smells just horrible.

   You see a calendar in the middle of a burgundy-painted wall. Looking closely, you worry that perhaps the varnish fumes are starting to bend your brain a little, because you have trouble focusing your eyes. You see what looks like a picture of a horse leaning his head over a fence post on day 9 of the current month.

   Above the calendar you see a box of some sort. You hope you can find a stool or a chair to climb so you can investigate further.

   You turn to the right and see a neatly-made bed covered in red satin sheets. You wonder why the pillows aren’t shaped like hearts. For that matter, where’s the velvet Elivis picture on the wall? Was it stolen? Did the horse eat it?

   You start poking around the love nest. Under the bed, on the left side, you find a pair of Scissors and a plate of Curry. No wonder nobody is using the bed right now – they ate the curry and had to run off to find a bathroom.

   You climb on the bed, dig around the right armrest, and see what looks like a Red Key. But you can’t quite reach it. You feel the urge to find a long stick somewhere. Feeling mischevious, you think about using the scissors to cut little stick figures in the sheets, but you refrain.

   You look behind the bed on the right side and pick up a Yellow Square. These are always useful in adventure games.

   Turning to the right, you see a cabinet with locked drawers and a dressing table with a mirror. You pick up a second plate of Curry from the floor just right of the cabinet. Lucky it didn’t spill, or the bowling alley owners would have to find a special anti-turmeric varnishing agent. Looking behind the cabinet on the left side, a third bowl of Curry.

   You look under the drawer of the dressing table on the right side, and see a star fastened to the bottom of the drawer. The Scissors doesn’t help, so you move away.

   Turning again to the right, you see a large bureau next to a big wooden table.

   You look under the table, and see a plate connected to an electrical outlet. You press a button on a small panel and it turns yellow. There’s also a blue key hanging from a thread. You use the Scissors and take the Blue Key.

   You look behind the table on the left side and take a Yellow Ball. And just to the right of the table, against the wall, you find a long Yellow Stick. It’s definitely yellow day today, and, judging from the appearance of the curry plates, more yellow regurgitation is in your near future.

   There’s a dot of some sort on the wall. You try poking it with the stick, but nothing happens.

   On top of the table, you see a grey box. Clicking on it, you see a tile puzzle. You arrange the tiles to form a picture of the horse from a different angle. It was tougher than the slider puzzles you’re used to, but still quite possible. You press the button on the bottom of the box and take the Yellow Key.

   Moving right twice, you get back on the bed, look at the right arm rest, and use the Stick to take the Red Key.

   You move to the right and decide to open the locked drawers.

   Using the Blue Key, you open the drawer with the blue keyhole. You take a Remote Controller, wondering where the television is hiding.

   Using the Yellow Key, you open the drawer with the yellow keyhole, hoping against hope that the curry store has run out of yellow liquid. Darn! A fourth plate of Curry, and a pair of Nippers.

   Using the Red Key, you open the drawer with the red keyhole. And you pick up a fifth plate of Curry and a blue Screwdriver.

   You look under the dressing table drawer again, use the Nippers a take a Gold Star. Terrific! You’re now an A student and can probably figure out what to do with all this yellow stuff in no time.

   You move back to the right and you wonder what’s going on with the electrical outlet and wiring. You use the Screwdriver to remove a grey plate on the wall above the table. This reveals another small panel. You press a button on that panel and it turns yellow as well.

   You turn to the right, and use the Remote Control on the box near the ceiling. Suddenly, there’s a huge crash as the calendar falls from the wall, revealing a screen.

   You look closely at the screen, and there are slots for the three yellow shapes. You place each of your yellow shapes in the slots and a diagram is revealed. What looks like four dice with question marks on the faces.

   You wonder if you need to answer questions about each shape. The first shape has red on the top and blue on the right side. The second shape is green and yellow. The third shape is purple and red and the fourth shape is blue and pink.

   You turn to the right again, and realize the dot on the opposite wall is projecting a design on to this wall, now that you’ve pressed those yellow buttons. The design consists of colored squares. Perhaps if you rearrange the squares in your mind, they’ll form a cube.

   What color would be in front if red were on top and blue on the right side? Pink. And green on top with yellow on the right side? That’s a little harder, but you figure Purple (it helps to imagine the cube formed with Pink in the front).

   How about purple on top and red on the right? That would be Green. And blue on top with pink on the right? That’s clearly Red. With the numbers, you have a potential combination.

   Going back to the left, you enter the combination 4032 in the lock. But it doesn’t work. You stomp up and down in anger, and you wonder if the person designing the block was spending too much time sniffing varnish.

   You look at the cube some more, reverse the third position on a whim, enter 4092, and the lock clicks. You exit the room and donate your curry to a hungry man sitting at a desk outside, spraying fungicide into a row of bowling shoes. Not knowing any better, he thanks you profusely and you vow never to go bowling again.

   I wonder if they’ll fix the bug with the final combination.

   The “box near the ceiling” is an air conditioner. You turn it on with the remote and it blows the calendar off the wall.

   Finished without a WT, and the combination Show

   4032

   worked for me, so they must have fixed it. The curry was quite good.

    I had to Show

    draw the cube diagram on a piece of paper, cut it out, and fold it up into a cube

    before I could figure out that last bit. :/
