the short drawers next to the drawers where you use the colored keys. click on top, there is a paper with an arrow and an x. zoom back out and use the hammer on the wall where the arrow was points… “x marks the spot”

This should be reposted if there’s some way to get the red ball. I had to do what everyone else with trial and error.

Walkthrough:

Door Screen

Show

Click on grey book on the floor. Note two arrows, colored on left, black on right. Note that the arrow on the left is a design with a blue 1, a green 2, a yellow 3 and a red 4. Zoom Out.

Click on wall where the arrows pointed. A grey screen is revealed.

Go Right.

Sofa Screen

Show

Click on sofa seat to take Scallion (1).

Click under sofa on right side to look under the sofa. Take Scallion (2). Zoom Out.

Click left of sofa where the wall meets the floor to look behind the sofa. Take Wood Stick. Zoom Out.

Note tiny green ball on top of plant. Use Wood Stick on the ball to take Green Ball.

Go Right.

Safe Screen

Show

Click right of chest where the wall meets the floor to look behind the chest. Take Red Key. Zoom Out.

Use Red Key on the safe’s red keyhole to look inside the safe. Take Screwdriver. Take Scallion (3). Zoom Out.

Go Right.

Desk Screen

Show

Click on floor in front of desk to take Scallion (4).

Click under file cabinet to look under the cabinet. Take Flashlight. Zoom Out.

Click on the top of the file cabinet to view a black plate covering a blue screen. Use Screwdriver to remove the plate. For some reason, you cannot remove the red ball. This may be a bug, or it may be that we haven’t found a tool, or it may be an indication the red part of the puzzle is as it seems. Zoom Out.

Click on the bottom of the opening in the desk on the right side to look at a shelf. Take Blue Key. Zoom Out.

Click on the box on the top of the desk. Click on the puzzle pieces to arrange them into a face (ear on the right, nose on the left, segmented lines top and bottom). Click on the button at the bottom of the box to open the box. Take Yellow Key. Zoom Out.

Go Left.

Safe Screen

Show

Use Blue Key on the safe’s blue keyhole to remove the lock. Click on the key/lock in your inventory to convert it into a Blue Ball.

Use Yellow Key on the safe’s yellow keyhole to look inside the safe. Take Mallet. Take Scallion (5). Zoom Out.

Click on the top of the chest to view a puzzle. There’s a white card with a design. Clicking on the card changes its orientation. You can click and hold to move the card. Click so the arrow points up, as it does in the book on the Door Screen. Arrange the card so it resembles a full arrow pointing to an X.

Use the Mallet on the wall above the chest, where the arrow points to the X. This creates a big hole in the wall. Use the Flashlight on the hole to reveal a yellow dot. Click on the yellow dot to take the Yellow Ball.

Go Right Twice.

Door Screen

Show

Click on the grey screen to zoom in. Place the blue ball on the black spot on the bottom of the screen. Note a block design. Arrange this in your mind so that the shading on the blocks is consistent.

Show

With the blue ball (1 in the arrow from the book), there’s one spur of three blocks to shift left. The blue number is a 3.

With the green ball (2nd), you need to shift both spurs of three blocks at either end. The one on top to the left, the one on the bottom to the right. The green number is a 2.

With the yellow ball (3rd), there’s one spur of three blocks to shift left. The yellow number is a 7.

Since the red ball is missing (4th), just use the arrow number of 4.

Zoom Out.

Show

Click on the grey rectangle on the door to view the combination lock. Input the sequence of numbers from the design (3274). Click on the red dot to turn it yellow. Zoom Out.

Click on the door handle to exit the room.

Addenda to Anemic’s walkthrough:

1. Re: the red ball, I confirmed that Show

you can get it if you click it when it’s in the center hole (where it shows bright red instead of pinkish). I don’t know why others were having trouble with it. Oh, and mouse movement/location doesn’t appear to have anything to do with it.

2. The clue for the puzzle box is Show

under the “safe” (with the colored keyholes), toward the left.

3. I was saying “WHAT Show

grey screen?!?” until I happened to click on the wall in the door view (in a mad fit of clicking everything). It just looks like wall until you click the wall somewhere above the notebook.

I had no trouble getting the red ball once it Show

moved into the center, where there’s apparently a hole so you can reach it. I don’t recall doing anything in particular to get it to move there, though I probably had my mouse pointer on the hole.

Yes, absolutely no question they fixed the bug.

You can now move the red ball to the center with the cursor, then click on it when it’s in the hole to take it.
