   This is what you might call a “non-spoiler walkthrough” – trying to give hints rather than outright answers.

   1. Examine the shelf. You will need: Show

   -A three-digit numerical code for the heart box
   -A key for the pentagon book
   -A password of indeterminate length for the triangle box
   -A three-digit code for the pentagon box
   -A three-digit code for the diamond box
   -A key for the triangle book

   You have: Show

   -Something about sun and moon and steps from the diamond book
   -Something about 2=28 or 29, also from the diamond book
   -A clue about 50000 balloons from the heart book
   -A clue with Rs from the teardrop book
   -Some math (7×8) on the back of the diamond box
   -The shelf itself seems to be hiding a clue (or clues?): there are those colorful books on the left, and that E on the right.

   2. Now let’s go around the room to the right.

   Show

   -Steps leading nowhere: nothing to do here.

   Show

   -A strange white machine: ditto.

   Show

   -A computer desk: whoo-hoo, a trashcan! It always pays to look in trashcans. No clue what this thing is, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy. The computer needs a password, which we don’t know yet; but wait, what’s this on the keyboard? There’s also a box with 7 diamonds on it, the first one red.

   Show

   -A bingo machine? Whatever it is, I told you it pays to look in trashcans.

   Show

   -A bulletin board! With codes on it! Paydirt! Well, maybe not immediately, but I’m sure all of this will become useful eventually.

   3. Ok, now you’ve found two items and used one of them, and you actually have enough information to:

   Show

   -Open the box on the computer desk. Use the long clue from the diamond book. Another hint: think calendar and days of the week. This gets you an orange fuse.

   Show

   -Open the heart box: combine the heart-shaped note from the bulletin board with the clue from the heart book. (That black splotch on the note is actually a balloon.) What you actually need is the remainder. This gets you the pentagon key. If you look closely, it also gets you a purple fuse.

   Show

   -Open the diamond box: combine the other clue from the diamond book with the clue from the back of the diamond box. Again, think calendar. This gets you a yellow fuse.

   Show

   -Get stuff from the bingo machine. Use the clue from the teardrop book. Note the double-ended arrow: you can use the same code twice. (Net: Green fuse and triangle key.)

   4. The keys get you some more clues:
   Show

   -triangle book: A diagram of the shelves with some numbers.

   Show

   -pentagon book: something about “new our foot”.

   5. Now you can:

   Show

   -Open the triangle box. Combine the clue from the triangle book with the items on the shelves, in particular those colorful books (and the words written on them) and that mysterious E. (Cyan fuse)

   Show

   -Open the pentagon box. Use the pentagon notes from the bulletin board along with the hint from the pentagon book. The in-game hint (if you’re using them) is that t = 10. (blue fuse)

   Show

   -Get the password for the computer. Use the shelves again, same letters as the triangle box, but this time combine with the symbol on the computer. Where else do you see that symbol, and how many of them are there in each place?

   Once you put in the password, it should be pretty simple – Show

   the computer will tell you what to do, and you can’t mess it up.

   And here are the outright solutions for the truly stuck.

   Diamond box on computer desk: Show

   Sun = Sunday and moon = Monday. Stepping is forward unless told otherwise, and wrap around if you hit an edge. The red diamond is Sunday. So, press: Tuesday (3rd button), Friday (6th), Sunday (1st).

   Heart box: Show

   50,000 = 40 x 1234 + 640, so code is 640. After getting the key, open the box again and lift the bottom to get the fuse.

   Diamond box on shelf: Show

   The “2=28 or 29” hint means that 2 is February. So the 7×8 on the back of the box means multiply July and August, i.e. 31 days x 31 days = 961.

   Bingo machine: Show

   the code in the book is Ls (for Left) and Rs (for Right), but with the left edge of each letter cut off. Turn the handles on the machine as indicated – Left-right-left-right-right-left for the first ball, then left-right-right-left-right-left for the second ball.

   Triangle box: Show

   the names of the colors on the books fit the shelves:
   r e d
   b l u e
   g r e e n
   o r a n g e
   So just get the letters corresponding to each number: g o d.

   Pentagon box: Show

   number the letters in “new our foot” from 1 to 10:
   n=1, e=2, w=3, o=4, etc. Now substitute those numbers into the codes from the memos:
   10, 3, 4 = t, w, o
   8, 1, 2 = o, n, e
   7, 9, 5, 6 = f, o, u, r
   So the code is 214.

   Password: Show

   The little trefoil design on the computer occurs on each clue book on the shelf. The pentagon book, which is located on the L of ‘blue’, has 5 trefoils. The teardrop book, located on the A from ‘orange’, has 1 symbol. And so forth: diamond=E=4, heart=N=2, triangle=G=3. Put the numbers in order to get the password ANGEL.

   Another game that I can’t seem to run in Firefox. I give the flash permission to run, then nothing. There have been a lot of these lately.

   Maybe those who run the site could give us a head’s up if a program requires a specific browser or is incompatible with basic spam-blocking plug-ins like AdBlock or NoScript.

   Anemic, I had absolutely no trouble running this game in Firefox at home, and I just tested it here at work and it runs perfectly fine on both Firefox and Opera.

    Robamimi has some really creative ideas for escape games. I was unexpectedly touched by this one, as well as The Wedding Anniversary. Gift – Who am I? was also a lot of fun. 8-)
