Pon-pon House 2 – Odekake is the sequel to Pon-pon House, a Japanese Room Escape game developed by Orange Biscuit. This one takes place in the same water bungalow as in the original episode and the TAB key is still active: it helps a lot! You will like this one! Have fun!

    1, 4, symbol (looks like a sun or flower with dots on left and right)

    but I’m not sure how to align the dial once you have the yellow center piece.

    Walkthrough once you get to the other island:
    Show

    1. Follow the lady up the stairs to the door. Use the rectangular punch card you picked up at the first house. The holes correspond to dots on the door. Click on the dots on the door so that the pattern of holes from the card is NOT lit up/clicked on/whatever. There should only be about four dots clicked on. The door opens automatically and you go upstairs.

    2. You need the key. It’s in the well under the frog fountain thing, but you can’t get it out yet.

    3. Once the lady sits on the bench, give her the red candy from the first house. She’ll give it to a squirrel in exchange for an acorn, which she’ll give you.

    4. Take the acorn to the tree with the squirrel in a hole. Give the acorn to the squirrel and he’ll drop the yellow glowing piece.

    5. Now turn to the right a few times til you see the brick wall with handles on it. Click the handles and the panel will be removed, revealing a dial with a missing centerpiece. Take the flower dial with numbers on the petals, and place it on the dial. Place the yellow piece from the squirrel in the center of the whole thing.

    That’s as far as I’ve gotten. I know the Show

    code from the ship is supposed to help you align the dial correctly,

    but I haven’t yet figured out how that works. Someone let me know?

    look at the card and it defines what symbol each of the numbers is. now align them per the little diagram from the ship how it will be on the dial

    Finished! How to align the dial correctly: Show

    The symbols on the dial correspond to the numbered petals on the paper you have. So with the code from the ship, the first number corresponds to the symbol that should appear in the outer ring. The second number corresponds to the symbol you should line up in the inner ring. And then it gives you a symbol in the third space of the code – which number does that correspond to? That’s the petal that should be aligned upward. The code changes every time you play.

    Walkthrough from start of game (see my post above for walkthrough of the second half, and my separate post about the dial):
    1. Show

    Click on the house until you enter the door.

    2. Show

    Go to your left and pick up the crystal heart that appears on the little table.

    3. Show

    Also click on the book that is on the table. Flip through and look at the pictures, and take the bookmark from the front of the book.

    4. Show

    Turn around and face the door you came in. Notice the planter on the small shelf, it has several small plants growing in it. Pick this up.

    5. Show

    Turn 180 degrees to face the window, walk toward the table. There is a white object on it with grooves corresponding to the bottom of the planter you picked up. Use the planter on this white object and watch the seedlings grow! Take the scissors from the far right of the planter.

    6. Show

    Return to the front door. There is a key tied to the doorknob. Use the scissors on the string and pick up the key from the floor.

    7. Show

    Return to the table under the window. Click on the chair and then on the table to see the locked drawer that is located on the left side of the table. The key from the front door opens this drawer.

    8. Show

    Take the paper and fish key from the drawer.

    9. Show

    Leave the table and turn left, toward the blue suitcase. Use the fish key on the suitcase. Take the items inside – a fish and a turnkey.

    10. Show

    When you have all the items, a funny-looking lady walks in and gathers her purse and hat. Follow her out of the house and down the dock.

    11. Show

    At the end of the dock, drop the fish from the suitcase into the water. It will turn into a submarine that will transport you to the other island.

    12. Show

    Enter the sub with the lady. Use the turnkey on the hole that you face at the bottom of the ladder. Click on it several times to wind.

    13. Show

    Look at the screen opposite the turnkey. Throughout your journey a code will appear here, Take note of the two numbers and the symbol that appears in the third blank. The symbol doesn’t appear until later in the trip so keep checking. See the spoiler regarding how to work the dial to learn what to do with the code.

    14. Show

    Follow the lady out of the sub and up the stairs. See my other walkthrough above for what to do in the second half!

    I managed to get on the submarine, wind the mechanism… then nothing happens… I’ve been staring at that black screen for a while… I restarted and followed the walkthrough, but I’m at the same point now… I don’t think we’re moving yet…

    shaz, this isn’t the first game everyone else seems perfectly capable of playing, yet you say it’s so dark that you can’t play it. The thought springs to mind, perhaps the problem lies not with the game but with your computer screen? Just sayin’…

    ive tried to alter brightness on monitor and got it as far as i can.. so dont know wat else i can try reka.it bright but soon as i get in that house thats where im having the problem

    If you don’t understand how to do the dial after reading the earlier posts, try it this way Show

    Step 1: Write down the code that is in the submarine. For example’s sake, mine was 3, 9, and a cloud symbol. Step 2. Navigate back to the dial sculpture on the wall upstairs/outside. Step 3. Open up the paper that has a picture of your flower and symbols. Step 4. Note the symbol for your submarine numbers and symbols. Mine was 3, 9 and cloud symbol so when I look at the paper, the 3 is on a petal pointing to a symbol with three circles connected by lines, the 9 is on a petal pointing to a symbol of 2 circles connected by a line, and the cloud symbol is aligned with a petal that has the number 5. Step 5. Look at the wall dial. Click the outer dial until the first symbol you need at the very top (mine was the three circles with lines). When I say “top” think North on a compass. Then click the inner dial until it shows the second symbol you need at the top, then click the flower until the number you need is at the top (for me that was a 5. All three will be in a aligned. vertically.

    I was lost for a while even with the above posts, but hopefully this will help you.
